MONTANA REACTS TO FOX SCENT...

Montana, our permanent resident adolescent cougar, is thoroughly captivated by the scent of fox rubbed on a post in his enclosure. It appears that he is trying to absorb the scent and become one with the post.

He goes around the post to experience it from the other side...

...and finally tries to eat the wood.
